Register with us to start attending focus groups and other paid research activities! If you are interested in participating, please register your details online and follow our Facebook page for project listings.

As a consumer, your opinion about a company’s products and services is very valuable.

You get to contribute to the improvement and development of new and existing products and services, and you get paid great cash incentives for your time, effort and opinions.

Payments vary, based on the duration and criteria of the group.

COVID has changed the way we make payments. Cash payments after in-person groups have become a thing of the past. We now pay most respondents in the form of a voucher that is emailed to you. We use GiftPay for this.

For some projects you are paid in cash (if it’s an in-person session) and some you are paid by EFT.

You will be notified of the method at the time of being booked into the research project.

Research sessions occur at a number of locations around Australia. We are constantly looking for people living in any part of Australia.

Focus People abides by a strict privacy policy that adheres to all Federal and State privacy legislation.

We adhere strictly to the codes and ethics set out by the Australian Market & Social Research Society (AMSRS).

When you take part in research, your basic details are given to our client (name, age, occupation, home suburb) and answers to the screener questions. For full details pertaining to privacy, please visit our Privacy page.

Register with us and we will contact you when an appropriate project arises and ask you some qualifying questions. If you meet the needs of the project, we ask for your availability to attend a session. It’s that easy!

Alternatively, you can visit our current projects page to check whether or not you may meet the criteria for any current projects.

There are rules around how often you can partake in market research. Most jobs require that you have not taken part in a market research job in the past six months. However, there are variations on this rule. Some jobs require a 12-month period since you last participated.
